Margaret is the Masters Head Coach at the Saugatuck Rowing Club. Margaret brings nearly 5 decades of rowing experience and more than 3 decades as a coach to the Saugatuck Rowing Club. Margaret is a native of Old Lyme, CT, and rowed at Lyme/Old Lyme HS and for the Blood Street Sculls. She rowed and graduated from Syracuse University. Margaret competed at the first Lightweight Worlds that included Women-Montreal in 1984, silver medal 4, and has continued to compete on and off throughout her career in the sport. She continues as a career rowing coach and program manager, coaching sweep and sculling on all levels, from novice to elite, juniors to masters, recreational to competitive, and everything in between.

Collegiate Coaching: Syracuse University, the University of Miami, Columbia University, Haverford College, Middlebury College, and Craftsbury’s U23 Fall Semester 2020. Scholastic Coaching: The Baldwin School, the Independent Rowing Program, Radnor Girl’s Crew Club, and Crew Haven.
Club Coaching: Craftsbury Outdoor Center, Florida Rowing Center, Miami Rowing Club, the Miami Beach Rowing Club, Vesper Boat Club, Bachelor’s Barge Club, and Canal Dock Boathouse.
