After having been a coxswain for the past 4 years, DJ enters his first year as a coach. He began his rowing career through the Learn-to-Row program and worked his way up to the Varsity 8. Having worked with the top athletes in the program, DJ knows what it takes to win tight races and bring the best out of every athlete. He hopes to carry this perspective to the novices.
Beyond Saugatuck, DJ has dedicated much of his time to impacting the rowing community. He runs a successful business designed to bridge the gap in knowledge for coxswains and is currently developing computer programs to analyze technique efficiency.
