Ernest was born in Haiti and at an early age; he moved to Quebec, Canada with his parents. While there, he was introduced to rugby, track and field, and baseball. In 2000, he moved the United States to run track and field at Boston College, but instead decided to play Division I football at Syracuse University. Ernest has been a strength and conditioning coach for more than 5 years and a personal trainer for over 15 years. He is the founder of Excelsior Athletic Prep. He teaches a range of group exercise classes including bootcamps, interval conditioning, and martial arts (self-defense). He enjoys training his clients for general health as well as sport-specific athletic conditioning. Ernest embraces a sound body philosophy balancing cardiovascular, strength, flexibility, and the mind-body connection to create a realistic training plan for individuals.
